Second Life Picks

As any avid fan of Second Life knows, we are limited to a woefully inadequate ten favorite picks to display and recommend in our profiles for our friends and other users to visit and enjoy. So here is an expanded number of my favorite SL places. Users who are logged into SL can click on the links below and transport themselves directly to that sim. If you're not a member of Second Life, what the **** are you waiting for? HEDERA COLLEGE Hedera College is an adult environment for those who enjoy college-based role play. It caters to college girls, teachers, jocks, cheerleaders, etc. Get a trial membership at the gate. Just don't blame me if you leave a wet spot on your chair when you get up. For SL users who remember how much fun Hillcrest College was, you should know that Hedera College was also created by the talented Summer Haas. And this time she has really outdone herself! There's also an active Internet bullentin board to help members keep up with the latest happenings on campus and where members can post expanded character profiles and snapshots. CHICAGO 1920s Featuring the Fiume Jazz club, vintage shopping and live music, Chicago 1920s is a roleplay sim set in America's greatest city. Step back in time to an era of gangsters, burlesque shows and when the Chicago Cubs closed out the decade as the best team in the National League. As the Cubs go, so does America? Our four pennants in five years (1906-1910) paved the way to America's prominence on the world scene. Our pennant in 1918 heralded the end of the Kaiser. And perhaps not coincidentally when the Cubs blew an 8-0, 7th inning lead on October 12th in game four of the 1929 World Series, the stock market crashed just two weeks later, sending the country in a Great Depression that we never really got out of until our pennant in 1945 celebrated our decisive victory in World War II. Plausible Body Plausible Body is a small but very nice female shape shop with some great photorealistic female skin selections, latex and sexy clothing at realistic prices. Includes a selection of ''open price'' and free items, too, as well as free skin demos. Primarily the shapes are for only for anyone who is a B cup or better. As you can see here, I won't be winning any wet t-shirt contests against ''Sadie.'' So, obviously, there wasn't much there for me, as I was looking for a shape that represents my body in RL. But still it's very worthwhile checking out for most women and girls. ALOHA NUDE BEACH What kind of life would it be without having a nude beach to go to? Tan lines! OMG! The horror!!! Fortunately, the Aloha Nude Beach at Tropicana comes to the rescue! One of my favorite places in SL! Friendly people, a warm atmosphere, a fantastic dance floor, many great shops and, of course, a relaxing nude beach. I always try to find a secluded spot before taking off my bikini and taking in the rays. There's also a hot tub, a pool, a fun water slide, private rooms and treehouse rentals. Vendor space is also available. And TONS of freebies, body shapes, skins and clothes! PARIS How can you not want to visit Paris, spend a week in a magnificent hotel with a window looking out towards the Eiffel Tower? ALCIS An absolutely fabulous spot to go skinny-dipping in relative privacy in a lagoon-like setting. Shhhhh! Just don't tell anyone else or it won't be so private - as I found out first-hand from the contents in an envelope mailed to me anonymously at my college (which, naturally, one of the first-year male interns opened to my embarrassment!)
